Hello, crafty friends and happy Thursday!! Brenda from mypapercutcreations here with you today!! I’m sharing a birthday card featuring the Fluttering Feathers background stamp!! I began by heat embossing the Fluttering Feathers stamp onto Bristol cardstock with Fairy Dust Embossing Powder. I blended on Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo & Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks and ran a damp cloth across it to lighten it a bit. Once dry, I trimmed it down and adhered it to a top-folding white card base. I...

Hello and welcome to the blog, my friends! TodayI would liked to share a card I made using a couple of stamp sets by Crafty Meraki. I started by stamping the peonies from the Magnificent Bloom Stamp Set and one of the butterflies from the Fluttering Feathers Stamp Set on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Then I fussy cut all the images using my cutter bee scissors and coloured them with my Copic Markers. Below are...

I played with several color combos and made dozens of backgrounds to use for future projects. My fingers are still slightly blue from all the pigment! To create my...

Hi guys, it's Jenny here, and today I'm sharing with you two ways to use a slimline die - its essentially a two cards for one technique as you'll see. I'm featuring the beautiful Crafty Meraki Crafty Wings Slimline die. To create my cards, I first die cut the butterfly from sturdy 110lb cardstock. I wanted to use something thicker, as I'm first going to use the die cut as a stencil. I overlaid it onto a panel of white...

Hi everyone! Tiffany here. I'm so excited to share my first guest design for the Crafty Meraki blog! Today, I am featuring the beautiful Fluttering Feathers background stamp, illustrated by Alex Syberia, from this week's release. Before starting my card, I conditioned my background stamp. It is really important to scuff it up a bit and remove any residue left over from the manufacturing process. This will allow ink to stick much better.Pro tip: To condition your stamps, rub Versamark...
