Happy Birthday - Fluttering Feathers by Brenda

Hello, crafty friends and happy Thursday!! Brenda from mypapercutcreations here with you today!! I’m sharing a birthday card featuring the Fluttering Feathers background stamp!!

I began by heat embossing the Fluttering Feathers stamp onto Bristol cardstock with Fairy Dust Embossing Powder. I blended on Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo & Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks and ran a damp cloth across it to lighten it a bit. Once dry, I trimmed it down and adhered it to a top-folding white card base.

I die-cut the sentiment four times from white cardstock with the Happy Birthday Shadow Word Dies. The inner portion was coated with Versamark Ink and embossed with the same Fairy Dust Embossing Powder to match the background panel. I stacked three layers under the embossed one and adhered those together. The outer layer was blended with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and the sentiment was adhered. A few iridescent rhinestones were the finishing touch!!

That’s it!! I love the shine from the sparkly embossing powder!!
