Hello and happy Thursday, fellow crafters!! I have a “Thinking of You” mini slimline card with lots of butterflies to share with you today!! I love combining older products with new goodies, so that’s exactly what I did on this card!!
I began by running the Merakulous Mini Slimline Die through my die-cutting machine with a panel of white cardstock and an embossing mat. This left an impression in the cardstock so I knew where to add color with my Copic markers. After coloring it, I trimmed the panel to mini slimline size and adhered it to a mini slimline card base.
Next, I die-cut the Merakulous Mini Slimline Die one more time from black cardstock and adhered it over the colored one with liquid adhesive. I partially stamped the Fluttering Feathers Stamp onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink, colored one of the butterflies with Copics and fussy cut it out. It was adhered with liquid glue along the body only, allowing the wings to pop up.
The sentiment is also from Fluttering Feathers. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, fussy cut out, then popped up with foam tape. I added some Ebony Opal Gems to the body of the butterfly and a trio under the sentiment and called this one done!
Thank you so much for dropping by today!! I really appreciate you spending a bit of your day with me!!
