Watercoloring LetterPress Florals

Hello, again! It's Andrea back to share a watercolored card featuring Crafty Meraki's Little Things Press-Tacular Plate.

The floral bouquet from the Little Things Press-Tacular Plate is just beautiful! If you don't have a letterpress or hot foil system, Crafty Meraki also sells a stamp set of this image.

I began by stamping the Little Things Press-Tacular Plate twice with my BetterPress system. I used the BetterPress black ink and an A2 panel of watercolor paper to stamp my florals. Next, I colored the images with my Zigs and a waterbrush before adding splatters of black paint.

I trimmed down the panel slightly and matted it with black cardstock. To create the thin, black frame, I taped two of the Frame-Worthy A2 Dies together and diecut black cardstock with them. I did that twice so I could add a little dimension to the frame without fiddling with foam tape. I glued the two, thin frames onto my card, saving the larger frames for later projects.

My sentiment is from the Gilded Expressions Press-Tacular Plate. I hot foiled the plate onto black cardstock with Matte Gold Glimmer Foil and diecut it with the coordinating die. I adhered my sentiment with foam tape and finished with a few Matte Eclipse Black Opals.
