Vellum Flower Acetate Card

Happy Friday, Friends! Irene (@wheniinkofyou) here with you today with a Vellum Flora Acetate Card.

I die-cut two flowers from the Meraki Artisan Flora Wreath out of vellum, two 4.5-inch vellum ovals, and two out of white card stock. To avoid visible glue steaks, I placed Altenew double-sided tape on the back of the vellum before cutting the ovals. I used a prefabricated A2-sized acetate card. Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp make these. Of course, you can make your own. I've used the Cricut brand Acetate to make my own.

I added a vellum oval to the front of the card. Next, I lined up the other Vellum oval to the inside flap of the card. Be sure to line it up carefully. Next, place the card's front side down and glue one of the white cardstock ovals. Line the non-glued side to the inner flap oval and press down. (See the picture below.) Glue the last oval to the back of the card.

I assembled twelve vellum flowers with liquid glue. Next, I arranged them around the oval. I added Magical Iris Gems to the flower centers. I prepared white cardstock with anti-static powder, stamped "Happy Anniversary" in clear embossing ink from the Love Forever stamp Set, and heat-set it with Silver Ranger Embossing Powder. I trimmed the sentiment into a strip and added it to the center of the card with foam tape.

Finally, I added three additional Magical Iris gems near the sentiment. And done! I hope this tutorial inspires you today. Thanks for reading along, and have a great weekend!
