Two for one.. by Angelique

Hello all. Don't you love it when you can create different cards with the same products? I know I do 😀 So today I'm here to show you two different cards I made with the same Flora dies 'Penelope'. Both mini slimline cards, with the same focal point, but still completely differen looks.

 

For the first card I cut out the flowers 3 times. Once of white card, once of green card (a scrap from an earlier gell press project) and once of watercolour paper, coloured with red and pink inks and sprays. I glued the coloured parts on to the white ones to create some depth. From black card I cut the background and used the 'Pagoni Mania' die to create the gorgeous pattern.

The 'wishes' word is from the 'Birthday Star' Mini Slimline Die set. Cut out three times and glued together for some nice dimension and I stamped and heatembossed the word Birthday (from the 'Celebrate you' stampset) on a strip of black card. Some tiny white 'rhinestones' are glued on to add some sparkle.

Then on to the second card: 

For this card I cut out the beautiful flowers three times, of white card, and glued them together. For a background I chose a piece of watercolour card I colured with different inks and sprays in pink, orange and red tones. I cut it out with the Mini slimline die from the set 'Birthday Star'. With the same set I cut out the black panel. I stamped the sentiment (from the set 'Celebrate You' on a strip of white card. Some tiny black stones add some bling. 

Two different cards, but created with the same floral die to create the focal point.
