Summer Sunset Cards

Summer Sunset Cards

Happy Friday, friends! Irene here with cards inspired by summer sunsets!
This project is created with all die cuts.

I cut one sheet from the pink and orange Meraki Sparkle Spectrum Ombre Glitter Paper pack into four A2-sized panels. Next, I placed the outline die from the Meraki Moments Hello Para-dies onto the center of the glitter panel. I didn't want to waste any glitter paper, so I placed the top layer of the "Hello" dies onto the cut-out from the panel; I secured it with washi tape and ran it through my mini die-cutter. I removed and saved the remnants for a later project. I again used the outline die-cut with gold foil cardstock and the middle layer in white. I used liquid glue to layer the hello sentiments.

I trimmed the glitter panel to 4x5.25 inches and glued it to A2-sized heavy white cardstock, creating a nice white border. I added foam tape to the white center and attached the layered "hello." I die-cut butterflies in gold foil cardstock with the detailed layer of the Emperor wings Para-dies. I cut two and glued the wrong sides together. I folded the butterfly at the center and attached the butterfly body with glue. Next, I stamped "sunshine" from the Hello Stamp Set in clear embossing ink and heat set it with my favorite Brutus Monroe Gilded Embossing powder. I used the Honey Bee Stamps mini messages die cuts to trim around "sunshine."

I attached the butterfly above the right side of Hello with glue. Then, I glued "sunshine" to the flourish. Lastly, I glued gems. I created two variations of the card. I used Meraki Gold Sparkle for one variation and Dew Drops Petunia for the other. All done! Thanks for reading along! I hope you have a great weekend!
