Pretty in Pink Love Potion

Pretty in Pink Love Potion

Happy Friday, friends! I'm here today with a Press-Tacular project! I used the Crafty Meraki Love Potion Press-Tacular Plate for this project. Let's get started!

I used the Spellbinder Better Press System, BetterPress Paper, and BetterPress Ink in Garnet. I placed the Love Potion Plate on the platform and inked it generously with Garnet ink. I used low-tact tape to attach the A2-sized Better Press Paper to the Acrylic Plate. I ran it through my die cutter twice to make sure a good impression was left.

After letting the ink dry, I color the florals with copic markers. I used Rv00 to color all the petals for the large flower on the left. I then colored the inner petals using a flicking motion with RV52.

I used RV00 as a base for the rest of the florals. I colored the inner petals in the center with R83 and added flicks to the top of the petals for extra shadowing. I also used RV00 and RV52 for the lower right flower. After coloring all the flowers, I returned with RV0000 to blend the color strokes in all the flowers. I colored the perfume bottle with RV00 and RV10 along the edges. I colored the label with RV52 along the edges and blended it with RV0000.

I stamped "Miss You" from the Love Forever Stamp Set directly onto the card panel with Catherine Pooler Ink in Pink Champagne. Finally, I added Lavender Luster Opal Gems for a bit of sparkle.
