Big Hugs

Happy Saturday and happy to be back with you all on the blog today!  I'm sharing a pretty floral mini slimline card filled full of glorious florals.

To make this card I started by die cutting the Mini Slimline Frames Die from a soft pink coloured cardstock.

I then coloured the Spring Wonder Stamp Set with copic markers and die cut with the matching die I used the colours R89,RV29 and RV21 for the flowers and YG21, YG23, G94 for the stems and leaves to go behind the mini frame. I wanted to have some of the pretty foliage peeking out so some of the stamp was positioned under the frame and trimmed away while some leaves towards the top and sides were left poking out.

Once my frame was complete with the stamped flowers attached I added dimensional tape to the back and attached to a panel cut slightly larger then the mini frame using one of the gorgeous floral patterns from the Watercolor Whimsy Pattern Paper

I cut an additional panel slightly larger again from the same soft pink coloured card stock to layer behind the completed frame and attached everything to a white card base.

Everyone needs a hug so the Meraki Moments Hugs Para Die which has the most gorgeous font was perfect for this card. This is a 3 part die, so I decided to layer the base and top from the same floral patterned paper used behind my frame and the second layer was cut from the soft pink card stock. All 3 layers were adhered together with art glitter glue and attached to the front of the card with dimensional tape.

I wanted to use one of the sentiments that came with the stamp as well so I stamped "Love you" with Momento black ink and gave it a pink card stock shadow and attached with dimensional tape to the front of the card.

I finished the card with some novo drops in a pink shade to the center of the flowers.
