Have you seen the brand new Meraki Craftober release ?
EAP, stamps, foils... there's something for everyone !
For today's card I used the Crafty Meraki EAP - Blooming Noel and Coordinating Die, the EAP - Evergreen Elegance and the Coordinating Die, the Gilded Holiday Greetings hot foil plate and the Coordinating Die and the Mod Stripes Hot Foil plate.
For the base of my card, I foiled a white 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" ( 10 cm x 13 cm) rectangle with the Mod Stripes Hot Foil plate and gold foil. Then I matted and layered it with a bigger 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (11 cm x 14 cm) gold rectangle.
After that, I used the EAP - Blooming Noel and Coordinating Die and the EAP - Evergreen Elegance and the Coordinating Die, to cut the leaves and my main flower.
I used the EAPs (Effortless Artistry Paper) which are pre-colored versions of the images but you can also if you prefer to color them yourself, get the regular stamp version of the Evergreen Elegance Stamp Set and the Blooming Noel Stamp Set. They all coordinate together : stamp sets, dies and EAP.
For the sentiment I used the Gilded Holiday Greetings hot foil plate onto white cardstock with gold foil and I used the Coordinating Die to cut them.
For the shaker part, you can use foam but I like to use thick cardstocks (I used oats boxes), it has a clean finish, you will save foam and it's a good way to recycle your cardstock boxes !
So I used two circles dies to cut four 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) circle frames onto thick cardstock, one onto gold cardstock and I used the bigger circle die to cut a 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) circle onto vellum.
I matted, layered and glued the 4 cardstock frames, then I glued the vellum circle and on top of that I glued my gold frame.
I glued my flower and leaves on the circle and did the same with the sentiments.
Finally, I put sequins on the base of my card, put glue on the base of my shaker and glued it on my card.
Et voilà !
