Clean and simple card with Beata

Today in Poland we celebrate National Education Day. It was this occasion that inspired me to create a card. The theme of this week's work is "Clean and simple". Therefore, the card that I made remains in this style.

When it comes to this type of cards, they very often prove to be a challenge for me, as I have trouble with when to stop adding elements to them. Each time it seems to me that something is missing here, something could be added there, and at some point I realize that it is no longer a clean and simple card.
This time, however, I think I managed not to overdo it.

To start with, I cut out a base from decorative Luxe Plaid Pattern Paper, then from white paper I cut out an element slightly smaller than the base card. About a third of the length of the white card I glued washi tape and began to ink the background. When the background was ready, covering up the rest of the card, I made a few splashes and collected the water with a paper towel so that subtle translucencies would form.

I chose "Work of Heart" as the stamp set for today's inspiration, which worked wonderfully with today's holiday theme. Also, the sentiments in this set are wonderful. They will also be perfect as thank you cards for teachers at the end of the school year, which is still a long way off, but it's worth collecting ideas in your head.

I colored the stamps with alcohol markers, as always, and added a few touches with white gel pen at the end.
