Merry Christmas by Brenda - Craftober Release

Hello, crafty friends and happy Wednesday!! Brenda here with a holiday card featuring some new goodies from the new Craftober Release!!

I began by die-cutting the no-line version of the poinsettia from the Blooming Noel EAP with the Blooming Noel Coordinating Dies, then stacked and adhered them together with liquid glue. This is the poinsettia that I colored for this collection!! It’s so nice to have them pre-colored!! I also die-cut the Canopy Leaf Dies from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers.

For the background, I white heat embossed the Jolly Holly Stamp Set onto a panel of A2 white cardstock, then blended it with red dye ink, darker in the upper, left corner and fading to white in the lower, right. The leaf die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue and the poinsettia was popped up with foam tape. I splattered the panel with white acrylic ink.

The sentiment is from the Festive Flora Wreath EAP. It was foiled with red sparkle foil, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with foam adhesive. Gold Glitter Stickles in the center of the poinsettia and a sprinkling of Gold Opal Gems finish off the card.
