Hello, fellow cardmakers and crafters!! I hope your week is going well!! Brenda here sharing a thank you card featuring the A2 Lenten Rose Die!!
I started by running the A2 Lenten Rose Die through my die-cutting machine with a panel of watercolor paper and an embossing mat to leave an impression. I watercolored the panel using the impression as a guide for placement of my colors. Once it was dry, it was splattered with diluted white ink. The A2 Lenten Rose Die was cut from black cardstock and adhered over the watercolored panel.
The largest die in the A2 Timeless Frames Die Set was cut from black cardstock. The background panel and the frame were both adhered to a white A2 card base using liquid glue.
The sentiment is from the Gilded Expressions Stamp Set. It was stamped onto black cardstock with clear embossing ink, embossed with white embossing powder, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the black one.
The sentiment was adhered to the front of the card using liquid adhesive.
Midnight Shimmer Illusion Meraki Sparkles, added with a Bling Buddy, add a bit of shine to finish off the card.
I love the contrast of the soft watercolor against the bold black outline and frame.
