I'm thrilled to share a delightful project I've been working on, featuring Crafty Meraki's latest offerings - the enchanting Lavender Whimsy Layering Stencils and the sparkling Diamond Dazzle Hot Foil Plate.

The Lavender Whimsy Layering Stencil offers a fantastic opportunity to bring the tranquil beauty of Wisteria flowers to your paper crafting projects. For this card, I chose to pair these layering stencils with vibrant dye inks, which helped me create a striking lavender colored floral design. To add some textural depth and detail, I added highlights using a white gel pen. Then, using the coordinating dies, I was able to achieve a precise and clean-cut design.

But the creativity didn’t stop there. I wanted to incorporate a background that would truly makes the lavender flowers pop. And what better way to do this than with the Diamond Dazzle Hot Foil Plates! These plates, coupled with the red glimmer foil from Spellbinders, produced a luminous effect. I found that using them with the Crafter's Companion foil press and Gemini die cutting machine gave me the perfect pressure and heat for optimal results.

To complete the card, I chose a heartfelt sentiment from the Sweet Tweets EAP collection. I affixed all elements using foam squares for a 3D effect, and for a finishing touch, I scattered Petunia Limited Edition Dew Drops.

Crafting this card was a delightful journey, allowing me to fully explore the versatile potential of Crafty Meraki's Lavender Whimsy Layering Stencils and Diamond Dazzle Hot Foil Plates. Not only did these elements provide a high-quality finish, but they also made the card-making process incredibly enjoyable.
