Thinking of You Blooming Halo by Brenda

Hello friends and happy Thursday!! I hope you’re having a great week!! Brenda here with a card that combines a couple of new products from the MerakiBlooms Release!!

I started by stenciling the Blooming Halo Stencil Set onto white cardstock using dye inks and blending brushes. I used the Blooming Halo Coordinating Die to cut it out.

Next, I stenciled the Green Garland Stencil into a panel of aqua cardstock with the lightest aqua ink that I used on the wreath. I trimmed the panel slightly smaller than 5.5” square and adhered it to a 5.5” white card base. I trimmed a vellum panel to about 5.25” and placed it over the top to tone it down a bit, then adhered it and the wreath to the front of the card.

The Luna Butterfly Dies were cut from white, black and two shades of pink cardstock. I adhered the layers together only in the center with liquid adhesive and adhered the butterfly to the card, also only in the center, letting the wings pop-up.

The sentiment, from the Love Like No Other Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam adhesive. Petunia Dew Drops were the perfect finishing touch.

That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great Thursday!!

Brenda
