Hello, friends and happy Thanksgiving Eve!! Brenda here with a thank you card featuring the new Over the Rainbow A2 Background and Frame-Worthy Die Sets!!
I started by die-cutting the Over the Rainbow A2 Background Die from white cardstock. I colored it with Copic markers, being sure to extend the color into the clouds and frame portion. Don't worry, we'll cover it up later.
Next, I die-cut the Over the Rainbow A2 Background Die again from white cardstock and fussy cut the clouds. I die-cut black cardstock with the largest die in the Frame-Worthy Die Set. I trimmed a piece of light blue cardstock to an A2 size.
The sentiment was created with a combination of the Meraki Moments Just A Note Dies and Moments Just A Note Stamp Set. The top layer of the die set was cut from black cardstock, the middle layer from white cardstock and the bottom layer from vellum. I also die-cut two more of the middle layer from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them to the back of the vellum layer using liquid glue. The sub-sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink and trimmed into a narrow banner.
The cloud die-cut was adhered to the blue panel, then the fussy cut clouds were adhered over the existing clouds on the die-cut. The frame was then adhered over the top, all using liquid glue.
The die-cut sentiment was adhered to the center of the card. I adhered a couple of strips of heavyweight white cardstock under the sentiment banner, then adhered it to the front of the card.
I added a trio of Ebony Opal Gems with a Bling Buddy to finish off the card.
That's it!! You can't go wrong with a rainbow, right?!?
