Hugs Slimline Card by Irene

Hello and happy Friday, friends! Irene here with a colorful slimline card. I used Penelope's Garden Stamp Set and the Hugs Hot Foil Plate and Die Combo for this project. Let's get started!

I trimmed the white cardstock to 8.25 x 3.25 inches and prepped it with anti-static powder. Then, I stamped the garden stamp with clear embossing ink and heat-set white embossing powder.

Next, I generously ink-blended three inks onto the panel: Catherine Pooler inks in Uptown, Grape Crush, and Flirty Fuschia. I used a microfiber towel to remove excess ink from the white embossing. I set it aside to dry.

Next, I hot foiled "Hugs" using black cardstock and white foil and cut it with the coordinating die. I cut three extra outlines to make a stacked die-cut. Then, I sprayed water onto the dry panel and used a towel to pick up the droplets.

I assembled the card by adding the panel to a standard-size slimline base card. I added the stacked "Hugs" die-cut with liquid glue and Persian Green and Purple Dream Meraki Sparkle gems.
