Hi it's Kari today with a new video and card to share! Today I have a Gold Mica Magic Background with Distress Glaze. It's a fun technique and I think you might be just as amazed as I was!

I started with Distress Watercolor pencils, then used THIS stencil with Micro Glaze to create a sort of resist. Then I sprayed metallic mica spray over that...the micro glaze protects the color underneath!
After it dried, I added more stenciled leaves in blue & green.
The Hey Meraki Para-Dies are a perfect die cut sentiment to rest that little Toucan from the Tou the Tropics stamp set!
I also added a sub-sentiment from the Hey stamp set (the Happy Birthday). I love how these products work so well together.
How cute is that little toucan?!
