Hello, and happy Friday! Irene (@wheniinkofyou) here. This week at Crafty Meraki, we are focusing on color blocking. My project uses die-cuts and hot foil. Let's get started!
I began with A2-sized panels in five different colors. I cut the bright colors sheets all simultaneously to get even cuts. I cut diagonally but not corner to corner. I lined four different color shapes with corners meeting at the center and glued them to a card panel. 
Next, I used a double-sided adhesive sheet on black cardstock. I ran it in my die-cutting machine with Crafty Meraki Craft-A-Round Background A2. I added it to the colorful panel and trimmed any excess from the sides. 
Next, I used the Meraki Moments Hi Hot Foil plate Die combo, and black foil to create the sentiment. I cut the foiled sentiment and also cut it in the four colors I chose for the background. I stacked the foiled sentiment with the colored die cut in a thin offset. I glued it to the center. I added the panel to a black card base and finally said Meraki Sparkle Purple Dream gems.
