Hello there! Today is an exciting day because Crafty Meraki has a brand, new release! Some of the new items were part of the July Retreat Kit, but there are also new dies and Effortless Shimmer Paper packs.
I'm featuring the new Party Balloons Die and Celebrate Dies. Isn't that balloon background fun?!
I diecut the Party Balloons Die from white cardstock and silver glitter paper. I stacked the white and silver outline diecuts and saved the silver balloons for another project. I blended the white balloon diecuts with the following colors of Catherine Pooler inks: Cummerbund, Pixie Dust, Serenade, and In the Park. After gluing the outline diecut to a white card, I inlaid the balloons.
For my sentiment I used the new Celebrate Dies. I diecut the word from white and glitter cardstocks and layered the diecuts for dimension. I cut the outline from vellum and glued the layered word on top. I attached the sentiment to my card with bits of foam, hiding it behind the letters. For a sparkly finish, I added silver glitter dots.
