Hello, crafty friends! Irene here with a floral card. Let's get started!
First, I masked the top right corner of an A2-sized card panel with Post-it notes. Then, I placed it in the center of my Misti and Waffle Flower grip mat and stamped Penelope's Garden Stamp. I used the Honey Bee Stamps' intense black ink because it does not smudge when using Copic markers.
Next, I masked the stamped side with Post-it notes. I then inked the top right corner by swiping the ink pad directly over the panel, using the Catherine Pooler Midnight ink. I sprayed Lindy's Gang Fairry Fluff Shimmer Spray over the black ink.
I partially colored the stamped image. I used three Copic Markers and colored from darkest to lightest. I began with R46 (Strong Red) for the inner part of the petals. I used a flicking motion with R35 (Coral) for the inside of the petals and upward to blend with R46. Then, I used R43 ( Bougainvillea) to blend all three colors.
I added the "just a note" hot foil sentiment created in a previous crafty session. I often hotfoil many things in one crafty session to use later. Finally, I added Magical Iris Meraki Sparkle.
