Hi friends! I'm happy to be back on the Crafty Meraki blog today. I created a cute slimline birthday scene using My Favorite Things stamp set and Crafty Meraki dies.
First I stamped all the images from Mice Day to Celebrate stamp set with alcohol friendly ink. There are so many images on this set and lots of accessories to add to your scene. I colored them using Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Next I used the 3-room studio slimline die from Crafty Meraki to cut from pattern paper and Bristol smooth cardstock. I glued them together to make it sturdy. For the inside panels I did some ink blending with distress oxide inks in the colors salty ocean, worn lipstick and scattered straw. I used similar colors to have a cohesive color palette.
I adhered the card panel onto the card base with liquid glue. I arranged the images on the inked panels and made sure to make room for the sentiment. I backed the images with double sided foam tape for dimension. That is it for me I love how happy and cheerful this card turned out. I hope you found some inspiration. Check out the shop for all the products I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
