Camping themed birthday card by Candice

Hello Meraki Friends! It's Candice happy to be with you this Monday! I have a great masculine birthday card for that special guy in your life for you today!

I used these products found in the Crafty Meraki store for my slimline design:

• MFT Happy Campers stamps & coordinating dies
• MFT BB Adorable Adventures stamps (sentiment)
• Crafty Meraki Trafalgar Square Para-dies
• MFT Outside the Box Level Up dies (banner)
• Oxide inks-fossilized amber & scattered straw

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of pattern paper a little smaller than my card front. I then die cut one of the slimline square frame from dark brown cardstock and another one from Bristol Smooth cardstock for the stitched inserts. I inked the inserts with fossilized amber and scattered straw.

Next, I stamped the campers, scenery, and accessories on watercolor paper, colored them with Zig watercolor markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I arranged them into my popped up frame either gluing down or using foam tape to give dimension to the scene. I finished by die cutting my stitched banner and stamping the sentiment in brown ink!
