Hi everyone!
Here is my second card
I masked the edges with a masking tape and stamped the images using Antique Linen Distress Ink. This time, I coloured images with Karin Markers...all except the cute astronaut's face.
Once I finished colouring, I painted a background wash using my Daniel Smith watercolors. After the panel was dry, I masked the images and generously splattered white ink. I let it air dry and adhered it on a grey card base.
Sindhu here. Today I have a couple of fun birthday cards to share with you.
I used My Favorite Things 'Best friends in the universe' stamp set and watercoloured the images. I created a collage style card and a cute scene on another. I had done the collage style card in the past once and enjoyed making it. So I wanted to do it again.
I started by dividing the watercolor cardstock panel into four parts. I used a pencil to draw the guidelines.

I masked the borders and filled in the background with a light watetcolour wash. I was disappointed that the masking tape didn't hold the watercolors properly. Else I was pretty happy with how the card turned out.
