Hello! It's Candice back with you today! I love this Bar None Slimline die I designed for Crafty Meraki to use as a base for scene building like I did with this cute Christmas card!
I used these products found in the Crafty Meraki store for my slimline design:
- MFT BB Present Time stamps & coordinating dies
- Crafty Meraki Bar None Slimline die
- Sunny Studio Slimline Nature Borders dies
- Oxide inks: faded jeans, broken china, & tumbled glass
I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.
For the background, I die cut the Bar None slimline panel from white cardstock and stamped the sentiment in grey ink. I then trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth to fit behind the panel and inked it with the faded jeans, broken china, and tumbled glass oxide inks. Before gluing together, I added some stitched snow hills to create my little scenes on.
Next, I stamped the snowmen and trees, colored them in a blue and grey palette with copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them either with glue or foam tape giving some dimension to my card. I finished with some stamped snowflakes and silver jewels!
You should check out the huge selection of MFT products in the Crafty Meraki store and the other top brands she carries! There is also free shipping on all purchases over $50 in the US!
Thank you so much for stopping by with me today and I hope you are inspired to start early on your Christmas card stash!
Candice
