Hello and happy Friday, crafty people! I'm back today with a clean and simple hot foil card. I love icy blues and silver for Christmas decorations and cards, so I chose this palette for today's project. If you don't have a hot foil system, you can use a stamp set or EAP foiled with a laminating machine.
I used the Crafty Meraki 'Tis the Season hot foil plate for today's project.
This hot foil plate has nine images. You can quickly complete an entire card set in no time!
First, I foiled in silver onto white card stock using the Spellbinder's glimmer system. Then, I carefully placed the coordinating die and die-cut the images. I chose the Christmas tree for my card and added it to an icy blue 5.25 x 3.75-inch panel with foam tape. I used "Warm Wishes" from the Festive Flora Wreath EAP for the sentiment. You can hotfoil this sentiment, but I chose to use it in black for contrast. I added foam tape and used Magical Iris and Bluebell Wonder gems to embellish. TA-DA! One card in no time! Now, you can use the rest of your foiled pieces and keep going.
I hope you enjoyed today's super quick tutorial! Have a fabulous weekend!
