Sparkle & Shine featuring Artisan Flora Dies Wreath and Meraki Moments Just A Note

Hello friends! Bonnie here from BONNIECAROLLEE MAKES CARDS.  I have a Spring card featuring Artisan Floral Dies Wreath and Meraki Moments Just A Note on a foiled, colour blocked background using a sheet of design paper from Luminous Leaves. This card with its sparkle and shine was fun to make! Check out the VIDEO TUTORIAL!

A sheet from Luminous Leaves Effortless Shimmer Paper was trimmed to 4” by 5 1/4”. Low tack tape was used to mask off varying sizes of rectangles. Distress Oxide inks Picked Raspberry, Evergreen Bough and Hickory Smoke were applied alternately to the rectangles. The panel was transfer foiled with Gold Deco Foil and 1/4” Washi gold glitter tape was applied around the rectangles. The panel was adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.

Meraki Moments Just A Note Shimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Combo was use to create the sentiment. Using the dies, gold foil card stock and black sheet foam were cut and stacked. Green card stock was hot foiled in gold from the Essential Variety Hot Foil Pack and the words cut with the dies.  These words were offset on the foam-backed, gold card stock die cuts.

Using the Artisan Floral Dies Wreath set, the branch was cut three times … twice from green card stock and once from dark grey. Two sizes of the same flower style were cut from pink card stock and shaped on a flower molding mat with a leaf and ball tool. The centres of the flowers were finished off with gold prills.

One of the green branches was adhered sweeping down from the top of the card base.  Adhesive was applied to the main stem only. The sentiment was adhered to the card front overlapping a portion of the branch. The other green branch was cut apart and a leafy triangle was adhered below the sentiment. The leaves from the dark grey branch were offset under some of the green leaves creating a shadow.  Most of the leaves were popped up with foam squares and the flowers were adhered.   The card was embellished with rose and gold confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
