Slider Card with Hogs & Kisses

Slider Card with Hogs & Kisses

Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun, slider card featuring the adorable Hogs & Kisses stamp set.

I stamped those cute images from Hogs & Kisses with Versafine Onyx Black ink and watercolored them with my Zigs. Once they were dry, I cut them out with the coordinating die set and added highlights with a white gel pen.

To create my background for those sweet piggies, I blended white cardstock with distress oxides. For the sky I added Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean to an A2 panel and combined Salvaged Patina, Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover on a separate piece for the grass. I flicked water across both pieces and blotted them dry. I diecut the grass with a border die from my stash and used Lawn Fawn's Slide on Over Dies to create a slot in the A2 panel for my slider.

I trimmed a strip of white cardstock to 1/2" x 5" and rounded the corners of one end. I adhered a slider disc to the other end of the strip and placed it behind the sky panel in the slot. After backing the panel with foam tape, I adhered it to a white card. I trimmed a strip of clear acetate to 1/2" x 5" and scored it at 2 1/2" and 2 3/8" before adhering one end to the slider disc. I diecut a cloud border from white cardstock and attached it to the sky with foam tape.

I adhered the floating piggy to the other end of the acetate strip with glue dots. After attaching the grass to my cloud border, I affixed the other piggy on top and popped up the cloud with thin foam squares. I stamped a sentiment from Hogs & Kisses onto a strip of white cardstock and attached it with foam tape. I stamped another sentiment onto the cloud border and finished with a scattering of clear confetti.

Thanks for stopping by!
