Shake It Up! Mini Slimline Shaker Card

Hello! It's Kari here today with a Mini Slimline Shaker Card and a video to share. Today I'm using the Be Your Own Kind of Cupcake stamp set along with the Hugs Slimline Tag die set to create a fun word shaker card.

I love creating shaker cards from word dies and here I show you just how easy it is! I started by coloring up the cupcakes with Copic markers, then I cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Next, I inked up a hot pink cardstock panel measuring 3 1/2" x 6 1/2", which is a mini slimline card size. Then I die cut the "Hugs" die from the panel, leaving more room at the bottom of the panel so there would be a place to put the cupcakes.

I used the Meraki Rose Opal Gems as a part of the shaker mix, and added some clear & red sequins to tie all the colors together.

To finish off this shaker, I added the cupcakes with foam tape and the sentiment "have a sweet birthday" stamped with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink.

Since I had the "hugs" die left from this card AND an extra cupcake I had colored, I create a bonus card:

I simply stenciled on the background and added those "extra" elements! EASY! I absolutely adore these cupcakes, how about you?
