Happy Friday, Friends! Irene here with a Purple Birthday Shaker Card.
This one uses die cuts and one hot foil (or stamp set). Let's get started!
I began by cutting purple glitter cardstock to A2 size. Next, I cut the Present Time Layering Background dies in two colors. I used a dark purple for the solid cut and a medium purple for the top layer. I glued the layers together with liquid glue. Next, I cut the Birthday sentiment from the Birth Slimline tag and set it aside.
To create the shaker, I used a 5x7 cello bag. I first trimmed along the crease and split the one cello bag into two. I added double-sided tape to the back of the present-time background along the edges. I removed the paper backing from the bottom strip of tape and folded the cello bag over with a bone folder. I repeated the same with the sides and did not remove the back from the top strip.
I added sequins and Meraki Magical Iris sparkle into the shaker and sealed it. I added the shaker to my card base with strong double-sided tape. Next, I centered the birthday die-cut and added it with liquid adhesive. I added a "happy" hot foil sentiment made with the Gilded Holiday Greetings Hot Foil plate ( left over from a previous craft session) and added it with foam squares.
Finally, I added Magical Iris Gems for added sparkle.
Thanks for reading along! Have a fabulous weekend!
