Hello, crafty friends and happy Thursday!! I hope you’re having a great week!!
I have a mini slimline birthday card to share with you today!!
I started by die-cutting the Kelsey Para-Dies from white cardstock and coloring them with Copic markers.
For the background, I die-cut the Flirty Wings Mini Slimline Para-Dies from white cardstock and adhered it to a white, mini slimline card base. The die cut flowers were adhered to the front of the card and the stamen were inlaid in the centers of the flowers. The excess stems were trimmed from the edge.
The sentiment, from the Blooming Birthday Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and trimmed into narrow strips. The strips were popped up with foam adhesive.
I played around with adding some gems or embellishments, but I really like the simplicity and the white space without them. It lets the die-cut background shine and the flowers take center stage!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today! I really appreciate it!!
Have a great Thursday!!
