Hello friends! I'm back on the Crafty Meraki blog today sharing a cheerful and colorful slimline card.

I started with coloring the adorable images from the Balloon Rides by Sunny Studios. I stamped them with milk chocolate ink, colored with alcohol markers and cut using their coordinating dies.

Next I created my sky background. I used my favorite paper for ink blending which is Bristol smooth cardstock. I blended the following distress oxide inks: faded jeans, mermaid lagoon, kitsch flamingo, shabby shutters and mowed lawn. I diluted some of the faded jeans and mowed lawn then used a small paint brush to flick onto my panel. Once it was dried I cut the panel using Crafty Meraki 3 Room Studio slimline die.

I adhered the card panel onto my slimline card base. Once I was happy with the arrangements of my images I attached them with liquid glue and foam tape for some dimension. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set towards the bottom panel. For final touches I added stickles onto the clouds, white highlights on the critters and balloon, and some heart embellishments.
