Hi Everyone! It's Jenny here, and today I'm joining you with a card that features the Crafty Meraki Floral Hugs stamp set. I absolutely adore this stamp set. It has everything you need in one image - bold outlines perfect for coloring, florals, and the sentiment all in one. It does come with smaller sentiments too if you want to add another.

For my card I decided to keep it as a one layer card, and just have some fun coloring in the image. I actually wanted to watercolor it, in that fun bright style with white highlights that make it look almost shiny. To get this look, I used Bristol Smooth cardstock and Karin Brush Markers .

I stamped the image first in waterproof black ink - I used Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then chose my colors and colored in about a third of each area (petal/leaf/flower centre/letter) and pulled it out with a waterbrush. This gives a fun ombre look, adding dimension without additional layers. I did the entire card in this way, and then outline all of the image with a pale gray brush marker.

When dry, I added white gel pen in lines on every shape to look like a shiny highlight. I then trimmed the panel down to 4 x 5.25" and mounted it onto a white notecard with fun foam. I scattered a few pale Pinkfresh Studio blue jewels from their Essentials Mix.

Such a fun stamp and there is plenty more inspiration throughout the blog showing you the versatility and the different looks you can get. I hope you have a wonderful day and stay safe.
