Hey friends.....Michelle back with you today with a bold floral featuring one of Crafty Meraki's gorgeous florals, Penelope's Garden. They have absolutely stunning floral stamp sets and this one doesn't disappoint! She is bold, beautiful and all that you want a floral to be.
To create this, I first stamped the image on some smooth white cardstock that is suitable for alcohol markers in black ink. I picked a palette of yellow, pink and a greyish blue for the flowers using Copic markers. I added some colour to the background of the flowers using some light grey markers.
The panel was the cut down to 4x5.25" and white paint splatters were added using some white gouache. This was then set aside to dry.
The sentiment was foiled in gold on black cardstock using the Meraki Moments Hot Foil Plate and die combo and cut out. I cut out the sentiment 2 more times, without the foiling added. The small sub-sentiment was heat embossed in white using the Hugs Stamp Set from the same release.
The panel was adhered directly to the A2 cardbase using liquid adhesive. The 3 diecut Hugs were adhered together using glue and then added to the floral background and then the small sentiment was popped up using foam squares and added just above the diecut Hugs.
I absolutely adore this bold and beautiful floral! You don't need much to bring out its beauty. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope that I have helped to inspire you in some small way.
I wish you all the most wonderful and crafty day and until next time,
Michelle :)
