Quill hugs by Candice

Hello Meraki Friends! Candice with you today sharing a sweet slimline design using some of this week's new release products as we continue to celebrate #merakiversary all month long! I used the new Love Orbit Para-die that I designed for the release and paired it with the new Just Quillin' stamp set!

I used these Crafty Meraki products for my slimline design:

• Just Quillin' stamps
• Love Orbit Para-dies
• Stitch-A-Cross Slimline die
• Pinkfresh Studio Phrase Builder: Sending die set

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.

For the background, I die cut a piece of Bristol Smooth with the Stitch-A-Cross slimline die, inked it with cracked pistachio and salvaged patina, and glued to my card front.

I then die cut the circle frame from white cardstock and cut the 'hugs' from an piece of Bristol Smooth inked with cracked pistachio and the shadow from vellum.

Next, I stamped the hedgehog, butterfly, flowers, mushrooms, and grass, colored them with copic markers, fussy cut them out, and accented with a white pen. I tucked them into the white circle frame and topped it with a sentiment heat embossed white on a banner tucked into the 'hugs'. I finished with some green and blue jewels!
