Happy Friday, friends! Irene here with a friendship card with a floral theme. For today's project, I used a press-tacular plate (one of my favorite new tools!). Let's get started!
I chose the Crafty Meraki Little Things Press-Tacular Plate for my card. I put the plate at the upper left corner of the A2 mark of the system and inked it with Thunder BetterPress Ink. I taped BetterPress A2 paper onto the press acrylic plate with low tac tape and ran it through my die-cutting machine. I inked the press-tacular plate again and flipped the acrylic plate to press on the diagonal corner of the paper.
I trimmed the pressed panel to 4x5.25 inches. Then, I colored it with Copic markers. I began with the larger flowers and colored them with BV0000. Next, I added BV00 using long strokes to the inner and outer edges. Next, I colored the small flowers with BV01 and added shading to the inside of the petals with BV04. I used N0 to color the leaves and added shading to them with N1.
Next, I used the Crafty Meraki Little Things Clear stamp set to add the sentiment. I placed it into my mini Misti and stamped it in black dye ink. ( I used the honey bee stamps Bee Creative Intense Black Ink Pad.) Finally, I added the card panel to a gray A2-sized card base.
All done! Thanks for reading along! Have a great weekend!
