Press-Tacular Plates 3 Different Ways

Press-Tacular Plates 3 Different Ways

Hey Crafty Meraki friends!  It's Michelle back with my 3rd installment of the 1 product 3 ways posts for this month.  I have used the Crimson Charm Press-Tacular plate for my posts this month.  This is such a beautiful floral and press plates are so versatile!  Let's get to it. shall we!

Press the floral image from the Crimson Charm PressPlate and add the 1st ad 2nd layers of colour using the coordinating layering stencil.  For the 3rd layer you want to use a medium that will allow you to add glitter and steick to it.  For the 3rd layer I used Rnager's ;ulti Medium Matte.  I removed the stencil and sprinkle on Distress Glitter Dust Vintage Platinum.  Remove the stencil and allow to dry.

Add colour to the ,eaves and berries using alcohol ink markers.  Cut out the image using the coordinating die and add glosy accents to the berries.  Set aside to dry completely.

Create the background by adhering a sheet of double sided adhesive to an A2 size pwhite piece of cardstock.  Peel off the top layer of the protective backing and pour the same Distress Glitter on it as you used for the flower.  Be sure to do this over a scrap piece of paper or a coffee filter, as long as you can pour the glitter back in the container.  Before removing the excess glitter, be sure to burnish the glitter into the adhesive.  That simply means to rub it in with your finger.  This also helps to bing out the sparkle, in my opinion lol   From a piece of black cardstock, cut out using the Speckled Canopy Background A2 die.

Adhere the black diecut piece to the glitter paper.  Cut off any excess that may be overhanging.  I had some extra layers cut from previous projects with the Frame-Worthy Background A2 dies.  Add one of the middle layers to the background.  Add the diecut floral image using sone foam tape over the white frame.  From the Crafty Friends Stamp Set, stamp out the snetiment in black ink and cut out.  The sentiment was one long strip, but was too long for my project, so I cut it in half and adhered it using foam squares.  Add all of this to an A2 cardbase and that's it!

Gotta love it when you can use products in multiple ways.  I love how this card turned out and all of the sparkle is just.....!!!  Thank you so much for stopping by today at the blog.  I wish you all the most wonderful and creative day!  Until next time, Michelle ;)
