Hi There - Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate

Hi There - Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate

Hello, crafters!! Brenda back with you today!! I'm sharing a watercolored floral card featuring the stunning Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate!!

I began by pressing the Floral Fantasy Press-Tacular Plate onto a panel of watercolor paper using Versamark Ink and the BetterPress System. I sprinkled on white embossing powder and heat set it until it was melted. I used Daniel Smith watercolors to color in the embossed image, making sure some of the pigment went outside the embossed lines. Once that was dry, I splattered on some diluted white bleed-proof ink.

The sentiment was created using the Meraki Moments Hi Stamp and Die Set. "Hi" was die-cut from bright pink cardstock, watercolor paper and vellum. "There" was stamped onto watercolor paper with dark pink ink and trimmed into a narrow strip.

The background panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 panel of dark pink cardstock using liquid glue.

The die-cut sentiment was adhered with liquid glue and the sentiment strip was popped up with foam tape.

Rose Pink Meraki Sparkles finish off the card.

This is the first time I've tried embossing with a press plate, but it definitely won't be the last!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a great day!!
