Orange Roses and Hot Foil

Orange Roses and Hot Foil

Hello, again! It's Andrea back to share a card featuring the beautiful, new Rose Rhapsody stamp set.

Have you checked out Crafty Meraki's latest release? I just love all of the gorgeous florals, including these roses from the Rose Rhapsody stamp. I stamped it (all of the images are on one stamp) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Copics (I was trying for peach roses, but these turned out more orange), and cut them out with the coordinating die.

To create a subtle background behind the roses, I blended the front of a white card with Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink. That lovely striped paper is from the Party Prism Effortless Shimmer Paper. After foiling it with Copper Deco Foil, I adhered the strip to the bottom of my card and added a sliver of green glitter cardstock above it.

I arranged my roses onto my card and adhered them with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam tape in various thicknesses to create depth. My sentiment is from the All My Love stamp set. I stamped it with Versamark ink and heat-embossed it with WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. I trimmed down the sentiment and popped it up with foam. For some sparkle, I finished the card with a scattering of clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!
