MY Super Hero Mayra!!!!

Hello everyone!! Happy Friday!! It's Mayra here with you today.

I have a fun card to share with you.

Who is your hero? Are you like me, I have several heroes in my life. My mom and dad are some of my heroes. My mom takes care of my dad who was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimers. Her and my siblings are amazing!!! With that thought in mind, I created this superhero-themed slimline card. I used the cute Super Dudes stamp set by Heffy Doodle.

I began by cutting a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock slightly smaller than a slimline sized card.

I then added Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade, and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide inks to create the sky for my superheroes. I then spritzed water over all of it and dried the extra water with a paper towel. I then used white acrylic paint mixed with water to add splatters to it.

I then die cut the clouds using Heffy Doodles Silver Linings Cloud Border Dies from white and vellum cardstock. I trimmed them to fit the slimline card. Then I glued them to the card base. For my sentiment, I heat embossed it onto red cardstock and added a strip of yellow before adhering it to the clouds. I then added the Superhero images which I colored using Copic markers. I finished the card by adding the little clouds and adhering it to the base.
