Miss You Card with the New Peony Artisan Flora Dies

Hi there! It's Andrea back with you to share a card I created with the gorgeous, new Peony Artisan Flora Dies. I just adore peonies, which is why I am so excited about these dies! Plus, Crafty Meraki  has made assembling these flowers super easy because not only do most of the diecuts have a symbol to help with alignment, but there is also a guide included on the packaging.

After diecutting my flower layers from light pink cardstock, I added ink in a coordinating color to each layer, using a lighter ink and/or hand on the topmost layers to create depth. Then, it was just a matter of adding liquid adhesive behind each diecut and lining up the symbols to make the flower. I diecut the foliage from light green cardstock and added shades of green ink to them. I omitted the detail layers for the foliage to keep the focus on those beautiful blooms.

Using an embossing folder from my stash, I dry-embossed a panel of white cardstock. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to a white card. I diecut blue cardstock with Spellbinders' Essential Labels Dies and added some interest with a plaid stencil and white pigment ink. I affixed the stenciled diecut to my card with foam tape.

I arranged my peonies and foliage onto my card, attaching them with a combination of foam squares and liquid adhesive. My sentiment is from Crafty Meraki's Handmade Love Hot Foil Plate. I foiled it with Gold Glimmer Foil and diecut it with the coordinating die. I popped up my sentiment with foam and finihsed iwth a scattering of flat-backed pearls.
