Hello everyone, it's Juhi back with another post featuring the Crafty Meraki Special Edition Watercolor Kit. I find it so hard to put away this kit, I've created a ton of projects with it and can still think of many more!
This week I tried something different and new to me. I have long been inspired by my teammate Mansi's gorgeous creations using Gelli Plates. I also recently saw by Jennifer Mcguire using a Gelli Plate with Distress Oxides inks which was the final push for me to try them out. I landed up creating a ton of backgrounds with it 2 of which I've used in today's post.
I've shared a tutorial of how I created these cards on the Crafty Meraki Kit Club Facebook Group. The group has tons of inspiration and tutorials of projects you can create with the watercolor kit. You can join the group once you purchase the kit.
For a change, my cards for this week do not have any watercoloring, that's also something unusual for me!

I first created the backgrounds using a Gel Press with Distress Oxide Inks and the Heffy Doodle Stencil that comes with the kit. Added some gold splatters to the background.
Stamped and heat embossed the flowers and leaves from the Waffle Flower Crafts Bouquet Builder 7 set from the kit with Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder.
Added die-cut frames and sentiments (from the kit) to finish the cards.
