Just A Note - Gold Emboss Resist

Hello, fellow crafters and cardmakers!! Brenda here with a floral card combining gold heat embossing, gold foiling and gold gems for lots of shine!! (Sorry...I totally forgot to take process pics, but I'll explain every step.)

I started by stamping the floral image from the New Beginnings Stamp Set onto a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock with Versamark ink. I sprinkled it with gold metallic embossing powder, then melted it with my heat gun until it was smooth. I watercolored it with Zig Clean Color Real Markers in an autumnal color palette. I splatted it with diluted metallic gold watercolor using a paint brush.

Next, I foiled the diagonal striped paper in the Party Prism ESP Paper Pad and a sheet of sentiments from the Gilded Greetings EAP Pad with gold foil using my Fuze machine. I trimmed a strip of the striped paper and adhered it to a white A2 card base. One side of the watercolored panel was trimmed and it was adhered to the card base with liquid glue. A thin strip of black cardstock was adhered were the watercolor panel and foiled strip meet.

The foiled Gilded Greetings panel was die-cut with its Coordinating Die and it was adhered in the lower, right corner with foam tape. A sprinkling of Gold Opal Meraki Sparkle Gems draws your eye to the sentiment and adds more shine.

That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for dropping by!!

Brenda
