When I saw these beautiful birds from MFT I knew I had to have them and they go perfectly with the You are my Sunshine Slimline die that I helped design with Crafty Meraki!

I used these products all found in the Crafty Meraki store:

• Crafty Meraki You are my Sunshine Slimline die
• MFT Winter Songbirds stamps & coordinating dies
• MFT Mini Merry Messages stamps
• Oxide inks: tea dye & antique linen

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.

For my background, I die cut the You are my Sunshine slimline panel from Bristol Smooth cardstock, heat embossed the sentiment in white and then inked the panel with tea dye and antique linen.

Next, I stamped the birds and branches, colored them with copic markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I arranged them around the sentiment either gluing or using foam tape to give dimension.

I finished with a few simple domes!
