It’s a Jungle Out There by Brenda

Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! I hope this finds you all well!!

I have a clean and simple card to share with you today featuring the adorable True Chimpion Stamp Set!! I just love these sweet little chimps!!

I started by stamping the chimp, tree & leaves from the True Chimpion Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copics and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to size and blended Mermaid Lagoon, Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Inks onto it with blending brushes.(You can also mask off the area on the front of a white card base, but I have better results blending on Bristol smooth cardstock.) I splattered the panel with water and picked up the excess with a paper towel. Once it was dry, I adhered it to a white card base with liquid glue.

The sentiment, also from the True Chimpion Stamp Set, was stamped directly onto the card base with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. All of the die-cuts were popped up with foam adhesive. I added some shine to the eyes with a black glaze pen and highlights with a white gel pen and I was finished!

When you have images as cute as these darling chimps, a clean and simple design is all you need!!!
