Hummingbird Birthday Card

Hummingbird Birthday Card

Hello, crafters and happy Wednesday!! Brenda here with a birthday card featuring one of the delightful hummingbirds from the Humming Harmony Stamp!! I cannot get enough of these beautiful birds!!

I started by stamping the Humming Harmony Stamp onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored one of the hummingbirds and the floral with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut them out.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of kelly green cardstock with the Fern Lattice A2 Background Coverplate Die. I wanted a white border, so I trimmed a bit off of each side and layered it over a panel of glitter cardstock from the Meraki Sparkle Spectrum Rainbow Ombré Glitter Paper Pack, then adhered it to an A2 white card base. The flower and hummingbird were both adhered to an oval vellum panel with foam tape.

The sentiment, from the Gilded Expressions Stamp, was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was also popped up onto the oval panel with foam tape, then the oval was adhered to the background with liquid glue, adding adhesive only behind the die-cuts. Ebony Opal Gems were the perfect finishing touch.

That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! I'll see you next Wednesday!!
