To create this super fun scene, I stamped the cute four cheeky monkeys with different bananas from peeled to bunched, and vines from the Heffy Doodle Chimply The Best stamp set. I wanted to create a scene inside the shaker, so I used for this masking paper. Thus, the composition remained flat.
Next, I created the background. I ink blended Cracked Pistachio, Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Inks. I then removed the masking paper and colored the images using Copic Markers.
The next step was to die cut all the pieces for the shaker card. I first die cut the larger frame from the Frame-worthy dies. Behind the slimline panel, I glued a piece of acetate cut large enough to cover the window.
I then filled the shaker with mix of crystals, sequins and seed beads to the center of the panel and carefully lined up the front panel to create the shaker.
To finish off this slimline card I die cut a HUGS sentiment using Hugs Shadow Word Meraki Para-Dies and then attached it to the card. To decorate the large frame I used the Heffy Doodle Amazonian Leaves Dies.
