Hello, crafty friends and happy Wednesday!! Brenda here with the large floral image from the Believe In Miracles Stamp Set embossed on vellum!! I love the softness that vellum adds to a card!!
I started by treating my vellum with an anti-static tool, then stamping the floral from the Believe In Miracles Stamp Set onto the vellum with Versamark Ink. I sprinkled on white embossing powder, tapped off the excess and melted it with my heat tool. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out, then added subtle shading to the floral with a white colored pencil.
For the background, I trimmed the pastel rainbow striped pattern paper from the Rainbow Reverie Pattern Paper Pack slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to a white card base. The floral was adhered, adding liquid adhesive only behind the melted embossing powder and trimmed off the excess from the edges.
The sentiment, from the Meraki Moments - Hugs Die Set, was cut from pink and white cardstock and vellum. I also die-cut the middle layer three more times from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered it to the back, behind the vellum. That gives the sentiment a little height and makes it stand out from the background. White Meraki Sparkle Gems add a bit of bling to complete the card.
That'll do it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
