Hello! It's Lindsey again with a hot foiled holiday card for you. It doesn't matter how many times I hot foil, I am in awe of the beauty and elegance it produces.
I started by hot foiling the Jolly Holly Hot Foil Plate with Champagne Glimmer Foil onto a cream A2 card base.
Then I started prepping all the pieces I would need to build my Christmas tree. I trimmed a tiny strip of gold cardstock for the trunk and die cut a couple of stars with a die from my stash. I layered the stars on top of each other and set them aside.
Using the same Champagne Glimmer Foil, I hot foiled the Gilded Holiday Expressions Press-Tacular Plate and die cut it with the coordinating dies. Now I had a pile of holiday sentiments in various sizes to use.
Next, I die cut a 4" x 5.25" piece of vellum. Using the grid on my Scor Pal, I aligned the star at 2", which was the center of my vellum panel. Working from top to bottom, I chose sentiments in increasing length to build my tree and popped each sentiment up with foam adhesive.
After my tree was assembled, I die cut a few of the smallest Canopy Leaf Die in gold cardstock. I trimmed off just the berries to tuck into a few places on my tree.
With my tree now fully assembled, I adhered the vellum panel to my card base, and my card was complete.
