Holiday Shaker by Lounon

Hello everyone ! Lounon here !

Today I share with you a shaker card I made using the Crafty Meraki Spruce Up Layering Tree Dies, the Take a Bow die set and the Carol Ornament Layering Dies from the new collection.

First, I used my Spruce Up Layering Tree Dies onto pink patterned papers. The right and left side of each piece are not symmetrical, so in order to have a clean result when I folded them in two, I cut each piece once with my dies facing the patterned paper and once with my dies facing the white reverse of the paper.

I folded them in two and glued my pieces together.

After that, I decided to make my own patterned paper. I cut strips of pink cardstocks. I glued them onto white cardstock and used a stitched square die to cut my panel.

I cut another stitched square into pink patterned paper and a slightly bigger square into dark pink cardstock. I rounded the corners. I matted and layered them.

After that, I used my Carol Ornament Layering Dies to cut the bauble shape into my pattern paper. I glued a piece of acetate with snowflakes on it on the back of my panel.

I stamped my sentiment from the Magical Christmas set on the acetate with my Stazon inkpad.
After that, I put foams behind the panel, and sequins on the middle then glued it on the base of my card.
Finally, I glued my tree and a bow from my Take a Bow die set on my card.

Et voilà !

May the craft be with you !
